Terms of Service

Article 1: Purpose
These terms and conditions (hereinafter "Terms") govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between ABLE Dermatology Clinic (hereinafter "Medical Institution") and users in connection with the use of online consultation booking, consultation inquiries, information provision, and other services (hereinafter "Services") provided through the website operated by the Medical Institution (hereinafter "Website").
Article 2: Definitions
The key terms used in these Terms are defined as follows:
- Website: A virtual business space provided through the website and mobile application operated by ABLE Dermatology Clinic
- User: A person who accesses the Website, agrees to these Terms, and receives services provided by the Medical Institution
- Medical Services: All types of services provided by the Medical Institution, including online consultation booking, consultation inquiries, skin condition information provision, and fee guidance
- Registration: The act of a User submitting requested information on the Website to apply for service use
- Login: The act of a User accessing the Website with their account
- Booking: The act of a User requesting consultation dates and times through the Website
- Consultation Inquiry: The act of a User submitting inquiries to the Medical Institution through the Website
Article 3: Publication and Amendment of Terms
3.1 Publication of Terms
The content of these Terms is posted on the Website for easy access by Users. A contract is concluded when Users access the Website and agree to the Terms after reading them thoroughly.
3.2 Amendment of Terms
- The Medical Institution may amend these Terms when necessary and shall notify Users of amended Terms at least 30 days before implementation through the Website.
- Users may terminate their service agreement if they object to the amended Terms.
- Users who continue to use the Website after the amended Terms become effective shall be deemed to have agreed to the amended Terms.
Article 4: Service Provision
Services provided by the Medical Institution are as follows:
4.1 Online Consultation Booking
- Users can book a consultation through the Website for the desired date and time.
- Bookings are processed on a first-come, first-served basis, and a confirmation message is sent to the User upon booking confirmation.
- Changes or cancellations of bookings must be requested up to 24 hours before the scheduled consultation date through the Website or by phone.
4.2 Consultation Inquiry
- Users can submit inquiries to the Medical Institution through the consultation inquiry form on the Website.
- The Medical Institution will respond to received consultation inquiries within 2-3 business days.
- For urgent matters, please contact us directly through phone or other contact methods.
4.3 Information Provision
- The Medical Institution provides health information through the Website, including skin condition information, treatment methods, and fee guidance.
- Provided information shall be used solely for educational and reference purposes.
4.4 Service Operating Hours
The Website operates 24 hours, but consultation inquiry responses and booking processing are only available during the Medical Institution's operating hours.
Article 5: User Obligations
Users must comply with the following obligations:
- Users must provide accurate and current personal information and are responsible for the accuracy of provided information.
- Users must not impersonate or register another person's personal information.
- Users must adhere to scheduled consultation times and must notify the Medical Institution in advance if changes or cancellations are necessary.
- Repeated booking cancellations or no-shows may result in restrictions on booking service use.
- Users must not infringe upon the intellectual property rights or other rights of third parties when using the Website.
- Users must not fail to comply with the Medical Institution's instructions or engage in acts that cause harm to others.
- Users must not distribute hacking tools, viruses, spam, or illegal programs to the Website system.
- Users must follow consultation-related instructions and precautions.
Article 6: Medical Institution Obligations
The Medical Institution shall comply with the following obligations:
- Medical services are provided in accordance with Article 33 of the Medical Service Act.
- The Medical Institution respects patient dignity and provides medical services with patient consent.
- The Medical Institution makes best efforts to ensure the accuracy of information provided.
- The Medical Institution safely manages personal information collected through the Website in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act.
- The Medical Institution is responsible for damages occurring during use of Website services.
- The Medical Institution protects users' personal information rights.
- The Medical Institution provides clear and easily understandable medical information.
- The Medical Institution provides transparent information about consultation fees.
Article 7: Disclaimer
7.1 Not Medical Advice
Medical information, condition information, treatment information, and other content provided through the Website are provided solely for general educational and reference purposes. Any medical decisions based on such information must be made after consultation with a specialist at the Medical Institution. Information on the Website cannot substitute for medical advice.
7.2 Confirmation of Consultation Booking
- Online consultation booking through the Website is not a confirmed consultation; the consultation is confirmed only after final approval by the Medical Institution.
- Bookings may be cancelled due to the Medical Institution's circumstances (emergency patients, consultation errors, etc.) or user requests.
- If the Medical Institution cannot contact the User after booking, the Medical Institution may cancel the booking.
7.3 Liability Disclaimer
- The Medical Institution is not responsible for damages caused by Users' negligence.
- The Medical Institution is not responsible for indirect, special, or incidental damages arising from Website use.
- The Medical Institution is not responsible for service interruptions due to force majeure, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, and epidemics.
- The Medical Institution is not responsible for damages caused by Website access failures or information loss.
7.4 Responsibility for Medical Outcomes
While the Medical Institution strives to provide the best medical services, responsibility for medical outcomes is limited to the scope defined by the Medical Service Act. Unexpected side effects or complications are addressed in accordance with the Medical Service Act.
Article 8: Copyright and Intellectual Property Rights
8.1 Copyright Ownership
- All Website content (text, images, videos, design, programs, etc.) is owned or licensed by the Medical Institution.
- Users may use content only for personal purposes permitted under copyright law.
8.2 Prohibition of Illegal Use
- Unauthorized copying, modification, distribution, sale, or publication of content is prohibited.
- Commercial use of content without the Medical Institution's consent is prohibited.
- Use of content without attribution of the source is prohibited.
8.3 Measures Against Copyright Infringement
If copyright infringement is detected, the Medical Institution may take measures including deletion of content, restrictions on user service use, and legal action.
Article 9: Personal Information Protection
9.1 Personal Information Processing Policy
The collection, use, and management of user personal information is governed by a separate "Personal Information Processing Policy." The Personal Information Processing Policy can be viewed through the link at the bottom of the Website.
9.2 Personal Information Protection
- The Medical Institution safely manages user personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act and Medical Service Act.
- The Medical Institution implements technical, administrative, and physical security measures to prevent personal information leaks.
- Personal information is immediately destroyed after achieving the collection purpose and is retained only for the period required by law.
9.3 Management of Sensitive Information
Sensitive medical information such as consultation records, medical images, and prescriptions is protected by a separate security system and is not disclosed to third parties without user consent.
Article 10: Dispute Resolution
10.1 Dispute Resolution
If disputes arise from Website use, the Medical Institution and Users shall make good faith efforts to reach a resolution through mutual consultation.

- If no agreement is reached regarding medical disputes, mediation and arbitration services may be requested.

10.3 Litigation
If disputes are not resolved, the Seoul District Court shall be the competent court. However, consumer damage compensation claims under the Consumer Protection Act are exempt.

Supplementary Provisions

These Terms become effective on June 1, 2026.
Amendment History
- June 1, 2026: Initial implementation of Terms of Service
Other Provisions
- For matters not specified in these Terms, the Electronic Commerce and Consumer Protection Act, Personal Information Protection Act, Medical Service Act, and other related laws apply.
- Even if part of these Terms becomes invalid, the remaining provisions shall continue to be effective.
- If an agreement between the Medical Institution and User differs from these Terms, the agreement shall take precedence.
