Gold PTT (Photothermal Therapy) is a procedure applying gold nanoparticles to the skin, then using Acccento N 1064nm laser for selective photothermal destruction. Acccento N's 1064nm wavelength selectively heats sebaceous glands containing gold particles, fundamentally reducing sebum and acne triggers.
Gold particles target areas accumulating in sebaceous glands, while Acccento N delivers precisely matched wavelength energy — selective photothermal therapy. Without surface peeling, it directly acts on deep sebaceous glands.
General 1064nm laser acts on various chromophores like melanin and hemoglobin but cannot directly reach sebaceous glands. Gold PTT: 1) gold nanoparticles preferentially accumulate in sebaceous glands, 2) 1064nm laser selectively heats only gold particles, 3) selective photothermal action preserves surrounding tissue while destroying only sebaceous glands.
