GA Peel — Glycolic Acid Chemical Exfoliation

GA Peel uses glycolic acid (Glycolic Acid, AHA family) to gently remove the outermost skin layer, restoring smooth texture and improving pigment. ABLE Dermatology Songpa controls concentration and contact time for safe in-clinic chemical exfoliation.

A foundational chemical peel approach with extensive medical history. Effective for acne·texture·pigment·dullness.

GA Peel Indications

Recommended for rough texture, blackheads, mild acne, dullness, fine wrinkles, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH).

  • Rough texture·dullness — Surface cell turnover acceleration
  • Blackheads·comedones — Pore-internal lipid·protein softening
  • Mild acne — Anti-inflammatory + sebum control
  • Mild PIH·tone unevenness — Pigment-containing keratinocyte removal

GA Peel Procedure Steps

  1. Step 1 · Pre-Cleansing
Thorough cleansing of skin to remove cosmetics and oils for uniform peel solution penetration.
  2. Step 2 · GA Application
Concentration-adjusted glycolic acid carefully applied to skin. Concentration and contact time customized by skin type·sensitivity.
  3. Step 3 · Neutralization·Soothing
Solution neutralized at the calibrated time, then soothing mask or hydrating booster to calm skin.

Post-Procedure Recovery

Light tingling sensation during procedure, mild erythema and slight peeling possible afterwards. Most patients show immediate skin smoothness improvement.

  • Strict UV protection for 1~2 weeks after (SPF50+)
  • Avoid strong exfoliating ingredients (retinol, AHA, BHA) for 1 week
  • Avoid sauna, hot bath, intense exercise on procedure day
  • Gentle cleansing and moisturizer
