Getting lifting in Seoul on a 1–2 week trip: what’s realistic
A 1–2 week stay is usually enough for the treatment itself: Ultherapy is usually a single session, and same-day treatment after the in-person consultation is typically possible. What a short trip cannot include is the final result — the change keeps developing over the weeks and months after you fly home. Book your consultation early in your stay to leave as many days as possible before your flight.
How a lifting visit fits into a 1–2 week stay
| When | What happens | What to plan |
|---|---|---|
| Before you travel | Send us your travel dates and main concern on WhatsApp or by email. Close-up photos in natural light are optional. | We reply in the order messages arrive, during clinic hours (Korea Standard Time, UTC+9). |
| Early in your stay | In-person consultation with Dr. Jeong Kyungmuk, in English. For Ultherapy, same-day treatment after the consultation is typically possible. | A first visit typically takes 60–90 minutes. |
| The days after treatment | Most people resume daily activities and makeup right after treatment. After Ultherapy, swelling may last about two weeks; after Density, slight redness may appear on the day. | If you can, keep photos and important events for later in your stay. |
| Before your flight | If your flight is soon after treatment, tell us your schedule at the consultation. | We will advise you based on your schedule. |
| After you return home | The change develops gradually as collagen remodels. | Maintenance can be planned for a later trip. |
Choosing the device starts with your skin
Dr. Jeong Kyungmuk, a board-certified dermatologist, examines you in person, decides the device and settings, and performs the treatment himself. Before lifting he assesses skin thickness and subcutaneous fat area by area, because the depth the energy should reach differs between people and between areas of the same face.
The lifting devices used here are Ultherapy (Ulthera Prime, micro-focused ultrasound with real-time imaging), Density (monopolar and bipolar radiofrequency), Onda (microwave) and Olewave (shockwave). We do not offer thread lifting or facelift surgery.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I have Ultherapy on the same day as my consultation?
Same-day treatment after the consultation is typically possible. Dr. Jeong examines your skin first; if a different approach suits you better, he will explain why at the consultation.
Will I still be swollen on my flight home?
After Ultherapy, swelling may last about two weeks; after Density, slight redness may appear on the day. If your flight is soon after treatment, let us know your schedule at the consultation and we will advise you.
When will I see the result?
A single Density session can show a tightening effect right after treatment. With Ultherapy, the change develops gradually as collagen remodels over the following months. Results differ from person to person.
When should I come back for maintenance?
For marked sagging, another Ultherapy session may follow 6–12 months later; the Density maintenance interval is set at your consultation. Maintenance can be planned for a later trip.
Which language is the consultation in?
Dr. Jeong consults and treats in English himself.
